Well, they're generally set in the
early 1800s and take place in
England, often London. It's up to
the author, but generally the main
characters are members of the
social elite (lords and ladies).

Stephanie Lauren's Cynster series were
my first ever Regency Romances, as
well as some of my favorites. These
guys really sweep a girl off her feet.

Julia Quinn has some of the best
dialogs that I have ever read. They
are fast, funny, and witty. Her
characters say the things that you
always wish you could in just the
right situations.
